The Balanced Diet

A Balanced diet should be made of:

  • 45 to 60% carbs
  • 10 to 20% protein
  • 20 to 25 % fat
  • 25 grams of fiber for women

In order to maintain a healthy balanced diet, the food standard agency suggests that you should:

  • Base meals on starchy food.
  • Eat lots of fruit and veggies.
  • Eat more fish
  • Eat less salt
  • Drink lots of water.
  • Cut down on saturated fats and sugar.
  • Don’t skip breakfast PLEASE
